Ariana Grande’s new relationship has left some fans worried that she may be moving too quickly following her recent breakup.
The singer appears to have confirmed that she is back together with dancer Ricky Alvarez after sharing cozy photos of the two on Instagram.
Alvarez also reposted the pictures, making their reunion difficult to miss.
The news came shortly after Grande’s split from Ethan Slater, her Wicked co-star.
The timing has led some fans to question whether Grande should spend some time single before starting another relationship.
Some fans have openly shared their concerns online. One person asked, “Is she capable of being single?”
Another wrote, “She can’t stay a single month single, it’s concerning at this point.”
A psychologist has also explained why quickly entering another relationship can sometimes be difficult.
Dr. Candice O’Neil said people may become more likely to accept poor treatment or overlook their own needs when they start a new relationship before having enough time to process the previous one.
“Jumping into a new relationship can leave us vulnerable to poor treatment, poor boundary setting, and a lack of awareness of our relational needs,” she said.
She also warned that this can sometimes lead to stress, anxiety and low self-worth.
The comments are not suggesting that Alvarez will treat Grande badly.
Instead, the discussion is about whether Grande could benefit from spending some time alone and focusing on herself before moving forward with another relationship.
