Princess Kate sparked a touch of concern among royal fans after stepping out with a visible injury during a recent high-profile appearance. However, Kensington Palace has since reassured the public with a brief update.
The Princess of Wales appeared alongside Prince William at a special reception held at Buckingham Palace, where King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted guests to mark what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday.
The event, held on Tuesday, carried deep emotional significance for the royal family. Beyond her historic role as monarch, Queen Elizabeth II was a beloved matriarch, and the evening served as a heartfelt tribute to her legacy.
Throughout the reception, members of the royal family connected with guests, including representatives from charities and organizations closely associated with the late Queen. Princess Kate stood out as she warmly engaged with attendees, sharing stories and meaningful moments.
One particularly touching interaction was with 88-year-old retired police officer Tony Gledhill, who was awarded the George Cross in 2008 for his bravery in confronting armed criminals in 1966. Their exchange quickly became a highlight, even being shared by Kensington Palace.
Despite her radiant presence, some eagle-eyed fans noticed a small detail — a bandage on Kate’s finger — which raised mild concern online.
This isn’t the first time the Princess has been seen with a minor injury. Back in 2023, she also appeared with two fingers bandaged during a visit to Hull, prompting similar speculation. At the time, a spokesperson clarified it was just a “small injury” and nothing serious.
Fortunately, the latest incident appears equally minor. The bandage didn’t affect Kate’s demeanor, as she continued to interact cheerfully with guests throughout the evening. It seems to be just another small, everyday mishap rather than anything to worry about.
